Characters:
Iago- quite evil in reality, but makes it
look to others as though he is the most honest, good hearted soul in the entire
play. He does this by making it look
like he is helping everyone individually, but he actually just has a master
plan to gain as much power and money as he can for himself while being a
coward.
Othello- Very good and loyal to all
characters in the play until he is influenced by Iago’s evil, which makes him
perform a very evil task (murdering his wife).
Desdimona- Good throughout the play by
being honest, patient and loyal but was killed because Iago convinced Othello
that she was no longer good and honest.
Cassio-Good throughout the play, but one
slip of actions in the beginning costs him his reputation which he is trying
time and time again to regain throughout the play. Other characters in the play see him as “Good
Cassio” (A 5,S 2,L 115).
